Mission

The mission of the Tallahassee African Coalition is to create a platform that promotes understanding and opportunity through effective leadership, collaboration, and cooperation for the enhancement of the educational, socio-economic, and general welfare of all Africans and peoples of African origin.

Objective

  1. To create and nurture a forum for the free exchange of ideas;
  2. To facilitate national and international cooperation with Africa, African communities, and friends of Africa
  3. To serve as a resource center for information on Africa
  4. To establish exchange programs between the local governments in Africa and abroad
  5. To celebrate and honor African activities and achievements
  6. To participate in community-based development activities
  7. To develop a framework and policy positions through which the Coalition can effectively become an advocate on African affairs.
